What Is StockMarketEye?

StockMarketEye is a platform designed to help you track your investment portfolio. The goal of the company is to provide you with “tools that can help you make the most of your time and money.”

What Does StockMarketEye Offer?

At its core, StockMarketEye is a platform designed to help investors keep track of their portfolios. StockMarketEye seems to be an especially useful tool if you have investments across multiple brokerages.

Let’s take a closer look at what this platform has to offer:

Portfolio Tracker

StockMarketEye's portfolio tracker allows you to manage all of your financial accounts in one place. While you have the option to input data manually, you can set up a direct connection to have your investment data automatically downloaded from your brokerage platform.

You can pull in your transactions from your brokerage account into StockMarketEye on a regular basis. But you’ll need to start the update yourself. With that, the information you see within the platform isn’t updated on a regular basis. The details are only updated when you choose to ‘start an update.’

A nice perk is that not all of your brokerage accounts must be based in the U.S.; StockMarketEye is compatible with over 2,000 brokerages from around the world.

Visual Analysis Tools

Once you have your portfolio information pulled into the platform, you can use a suite of tools to analyze past performance. Some of the portfolio analysis tools you can use include:

  • Setting up a side-by-side comparison of individual stocks
  • Compare your portfolio to a benchmark index, exchange-traded fund (ETF), or another symbol
  • Identify trends
  • Anticipate future changes

With all of these tools in your portfolio, it’s possible to improve your investment insights. The hope is that this information can help you make the right investment choices for the future.

In addition, you can set up stock alerts. Alerts can be centered on different types of information, such as last price, P/E, or volume. You’ll get an alert on stocks you want to know about.

Portfolio Reports

With your portfolio data in StockMarketEye, you can access six professional investment reports. The reports include:

  • Allocation report: This report breaks down how your investments are allocated to understand risk. The visuals of asset allocation might help you spot anywhere you might want to make some changes.
  • Summary report: You can see how your portfolio has performed in the past, cash flow details, and more.
  • Transactions report: This report outlines all of the transactions you’ve made within a given timeframe. The transactions can be broken down by total return, gain/loss, and more.
  • Gain/loss report: A visual representation of how much you’ve gained and lost through your investment portfolio.
  • Total return report: You can visualize how your returns have been broken down.
  • Back-in-time report: Choose a date range to see how your portfolio performed during that period.

As you manage your investment portfolio, all of these reports can come in handy. It’s easier to download these reports than create your own through careful spreadsheet work.

Are There Any Fees?

StockMarketEye offers a free 14-day trial to determine whether or not you like the product. If the product lives up to your expectations, you can move forward with the annual subscription plan. As of writing, you’ll pay $74.99 per year.

How Does StockMarketEye Compare?

StockMarketEye isn’t the only portfolio tracking platform on the market.

Kubera is another option that allows investors to track all of their investments. The ability to track assets across multiple categories with a customized dashboard landed its spot for the Best Money Apps. Prices range from $29 to $149 per month, but you can try it for 14 days for $1.

Navexa is designed for Australian investors looking to track their investment portfolio. But U.S.-based investors can still use the app, if they are comfortable without the automatic brokerage integration feature. Like StockMarketEye, Navexa offers an opportunity to visualize your portfolio returns and look for ways to improve. Prices range from $0 to $27 AUD per month to use this tool.

How Do I Open An Account?

You can open an account with StockMarketEye by downloading the platform to your desktop computer or mobile device.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, follow the prompts to complete the setup process. Be prepared to provide an email address and create a platform. After 14 days, you’ll be required to pay for using the platform.

Is It Safe And Secure?

When you use the synchronization service, the platform never sends or uploads your information to an external server. Instead, all of your personal information stays secure on StockMarketEye’s services.

If you choose to, you can set up a password to access the platform on your own computer. With that, no one will be able to snoop on your portfolio without your permission.

How Do I Contact StockMarketEye?

StockMarketEye offers email support. You can send an email to either [email protected] or [email protected] if you have questions about the product.

As of writing, StockMarketEye has 99 reviews on Capterra, with an overall rating of 4.5 stars, with 83.3% of reviewers saying they would be likely to recommend.

Is It Worth It?

If you are interested in the nitty-gritty details of building a stock portfolio, then StockMarketEye is a useful tool. The ability to keep track of several brokerage accounts in a single place is a worthwhile opportunity.

The downside is that the platform doesn’t pull in your brokerage information automatically. Instead, you’ll have to manually start an update when you want to get your hands on the latest data tied to your portfolio.

If you don’t need to breakdown the details of your investment portfolio, then StockMarketEye isn’t for you. In that case, you might prefer a more simplified approach to investing.
