What Is FitBUX?

FitBUX is a financial planning platform designed to help young professionals make efficient money management choices. According to FitBUX founder, Joseph Reinke, the company aims to dispel the money stress many young adults face by helping them craft streamlined financial plans.

As of writing, FitBUX is helping young professionals manage over $2.6 billion in assets and debt.

What Does It Offer?

FitBUX is a multi-faceted financial planning platform. Here's a closer look at what the company offers:

A Comprehensive Financial Plan

FitBUX takes your entire financial life into account. Beyond that, it helps you factor in other parts of your life to build them into your financial plan. For example, you can include educational goals, fitness goals, and major life events in your plan.

Once you complete your profile, you can start building a plan on your own with the help of technology. If you have questions, you also reach out to a FitBUX coach to guide you through the process.

Since the only constant in life is change, it’s fitting that FitBUX makes it easy to adapt your plan along the way. If you need to make changes based on life situations, you can make revisions at any time and visualize how the change will impact your trajectory toward your financial goals.

Get Answers

It’s natural to have many questions about your financial situation. Although you can do your own research, it’s often helpful to have hands-on guidance. FitBUX takes your information into account to help you understand the answers to your questions.

For example, you might want to know how much of a home you can afford or whether or not you are investing correctly for your goals. You can ask questions and get customized answers.

The first place to ask questions is the customized AI-powered algorithm, which can give you personalized answers. But if you prefer to work with a human, you can connect with a FitBUX money coach to nail down the details.

FitBUX Score

FitBUX uses your financial position to generate a FitBUX score, which is designed to help you capture your financial situation in a single number. Essentially, this number is intended to reflect the health of your financial situation.

In contrast to your net worth, your FitBUX Score looks beyond your assets and liabilities to include your income, expenses, goals, insurance coverages, and more. While this score may be useful to some, your net worth is often a more tangible way of tracking your financial position.

FitBUX Coaches

Getting help from a financial expert can transform your financial planning experience. FitBUX offers this opportunity through access to FitBUX coaches.

A perk of using these coaches is that they are paid a salary, which means their compensation isn’t tied to a commission for selling you a sub-par investment product like many financial advisors do.

You can work with a coach to help you build a plan for your money that aligns with your goals.

Student Loan Planning

FitBUX offers extensive student loan planning resources. As you navigate the repayment process, you can lean on these resources to create the most streamlined experience.

In some cases, FitBUX will direct you to refinancing options to help you tap into a lower payment or get out of debt faster. The personalized approach is extremely useful in the realm of student loans.

Are There Any Fees?

FitBUX is a paid tool, at either $189 per year or $18.99 per month. The flat fee gives you access to everything FitBUX has to offer, including coaching. If you give FitBUX a try, you’ll find a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you decide the platform doesn’t work for you, you can cancel and get your money back within that window.

How Does Fitbux Compare?

FitBUX isn’t the only platform designed to help you build an efficient financial plan. Here’s how it stacks up.

Empower, formerly Personal Capital, is a money management tool that can help you make the most of your finances. Through Empower, you can track your net worth and spending. While Empower doesn’t have an option for student loan management assistance, that's not a dealbreaker for everyone.

Monarch Money is designed to help you set and reach your financial goals. With the help of customizable dashboards, you can closely monitor your spending and big-picture finances. Unlike FitBUX, you can’t get unlimited access to a regular coach. But you’ll pay $99.99 for the year.

How Do I Open An Account?

The process of joining FitBUX starts by creating an account with your name, email, and a password. From there, you’ll be asked to pay for the service with a credit card or debit card. Once you have created an account, you can start using the features the company has to offer.

Is It Safe And Secure?

FitBUX puts an emphasis on protecting your financial information. It works with Plaid, which is a trusted platform for communicating your financial information, thanks to its high security standards.

Additionally, the company doesn’t sell any of your personal information.

How Do I Contact Fitbux?

You can get in touch with FitBUX by sending an email through the company’s website or using the live chat feature. Customer support is available from 9 AM to 6 PM CST on Monday through Friday.

You also have the option to ask questions in FitBUX’s Facebook Finance Group or through the company’s sub Reddit.

Is It Worth It?

If you want a comprehensive money management platform and a money coach, FitBUX might be the right fit for you. Although the annual cost is something to consider, the ability to pay a flat fee and tap into unlimited financial planning tools is worthwhile.

But it’s not the right choice for everyone. If you want a platform more focused on your investments or net worth, Empower might be a better option.
