1. Student Identity Information
These questions are the basic information you need to fill out for the FAFSA. It's important that your information on the FAFSA also matches the information you send to the colleges on your college application.
How To Answer These Questions
- Enter your first name, middle name, and last name exactly as it appears on your Social Security card.
- Enter your date of birth.
- Enter your Social Security number. If you do not have a Social Security number, you can leave this blank.
- Enter your Individual Taxpayer Identification number (ITIN) if you don't have a Social Security number. Otherwise you can leave this blank.
