Unlimited Plans

Verizon unlimited data plans range from $35 to $90 for one line. As more lines are added, the price per line drops. The rates shown below also include a $10/month discount for using autopay and paperless statements.

Note that 5G access will cost an additional $10/month. Although, some plans waive this fee if you have a 5G phone.

While these are called unlimited data plans, throttling does happen at different levels, depending on the plan.

There are four unlimited data plans available. The Just Kids plan becomes available once you have two lines.

Start Unlimited — $70/Month

This plan throttles back speeds during times of congestion. It includes 480p DVD-quality streaming. Apple Music is available free for six months.

As more lines are added, the price per line drops: two lines = $60, three lines = $45, four lines = $35, and five or more lines = $30.

Play More Unlimited — $80/Month

This includes 25 GB of premium data. After that, data speeds may be throttled. You also get unlimited mobile hotspot usage with 15 GB of 4G LTE. After 15 GB, the hotspot is throttled.

This plan includes 720p HD-quality streaming. Apple Music is included free. 5G access is $10/month — free for a limited time with a 5G phone.

As more lines are added, the price per line drops: two lines = $70, three lines = $55, four lines = $45, and five or more lines = $40.

Do More Unlimited — $80/Month

This includes 50 GB of premium data. After that, data speeds may be throttled. You also get unlimited mobile hotspot with 15 GB of 4G LTE. After 15 GB, the hotspot is throttled.

This plan includes 480p DVD-quality streaming. Apple Music is included free. You get 500 GB of Verizon Cloud storage. 5G access is $10/month — free for a limited time with a 5G phone.

As more lines are added, the price per line drops: two lines = $70, three lines = $55, four lines = $45, and five or more lines = $40.

Get More Unlimited — $90/Month

This includes 75 GB of premium data. After that, data speeds may be throttled. This also includes unlimited mobile hotspot with 15 GB of 4G LTE. After 30 GB, the hotspot is throttled.

This plan includes 720p HD-quality streaming. Apple Music is included free. You get 500 GB of Verizon Cloud storage. 5G access is $10/month — free for a limited time with a 5G phone. As more lines are added, the price per line drops: two lines = $80, three lines = $65, four lines = $55, and five or more lines = $50.

Just Kids — $50/Month

This plan is only available with two or more lines. It starts at $50/month per line. Five GB of 4G LTE data is included. The plan includes Safety Mode to avoid data overages. It also includes 480p DVD-quality streaming.

Included is unlimited talking and texting to 20 contacts. Verizon Smart Family Premium parental controls are also included. As more lines are added, the price per line drops: two lines = $50, three lines = $40, four lines = $35, and five or more lines = $25.

Each unlimited plan includes 12 months of Disney+ at no charge. After the first 12 months, the cost is $6.99/month.

Unlimited Prepaid Plan

If signing a contract isn’t your thing, Verizon offers one prepaid unlimited data plan called Unlimited High Speed Data. This plan costs $65/month with autopay. The plan includes unlimited talking and texting.

You can also bring your own phone or purchase one through Verizon.

Coverage and Speeds

Verizon offers the best coverage and speeds available, making their pricing even more compelling. Its network is also extremely reliable.

Verizon was the first wireless carrier to launch 5G in Indianapolis, Houston, Los Angeles, and Sacramento. It's now rolling out 5G everywhere in the United States, although only a few phones support it.

Verizon’s plans are admittedly on the higher side. But once you factor in coverage, data speeds, and reliability, we believe the pricing is fair. Additionally, more lines can drop prices quickly.

Verizon offers enough plans that you should be able to find one that suits you. If you are coming from another carrier, look for switching discounts, which are usually available.

How Does Verizon Compare?

Verizon isn't the only wireless carrier - in fact, there is basically a cell phone carrier war going on all the time between the big companies.

Verizon typically wins on coverage and speed, but they may be higher priced than other carriers. They do throw in a lot of "extras", but you're still paying each month.

Final Thoughts

Verizon is a top choice when it comes to selecting a cell phone carrier, especially for an entire family (since the price per line is reduced so much).

When you add in all the extras, like the Disney Bundle, it's a solid choice.
