Women in HVACR Scholarship
Offered by Women in HVACR
About This Scholarship
Women in HVACR (WHVACR), the national organization for women in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry, awards $5,000 scholarships to women preparing to enter the field. Six scholarships were funded for the 2026 cycle, plus an additional tuition award through the HVACRedu.net Tech Launch program.
Two tracks cover different paths into the industry: Scholarship A supports women enrolled in HVACR programs at technical colleges and trade schools, while Scholarship B supports women pursuing HVACR-related bachelor's degrees at four-year colleges. Both tracks require a 3.0 GPA, an essay of at least 500 words, two or more reference letters, a transcript, and proof of current enrollment.
Applications roll continuously: anything submitted before June 1 counts toward that year's awards, and applications received afterward are automatically entered for the following year, so there is never a bad time to apply.
