USBC Chuck Hall Star of Tomorrow
Offered by United States Bowling Congress
About This Scholarship
The Chuck Hall Star of Tomorrow is the male counterpart to USBC's Alberta E. Crowe award: $6,000 to one male high school junior or senior who competes in bowling. Selection recognizes star qualities across the board — bowling performance, academic achievement, and extracurricular and civic involvement.
Applicants must be non-professional USBC members in good standing and meet the shared USBC scholarship requirements: a 3.0 unweighted GPA minimum, a transcript, two recommendation letters, three years of proof of participation, a photo, and an essay of at least 500 words with no more than 15% AI assistance.
Like the Crowe award, the Chuck Hall goes to a single bowler nationwide each year and can be won only once. Winnings are managed through USBC's SMART program and paid toward education expenses after high school.
