In the 2026 cycle, the program awarded 475 scholarships totaling $944,750, and roughly 44% of complete applications resulted in at least one award.
The program prioritizes students training to become technicians in automotive, collision, heavy duty, or agricultural equipment fields, along with students preparing for other careers with automotive aftermarket companies. Named awards come from industry donors such as NAPA, Valvoline, PPG, Garage Gurus, and the Tire Industry Association, and about 12% of winners in 2026 collected more than one award from the same application.
