TSA William P. Elrod Memorial Scholarship
Offered by Technology Student Association
About This Scholarship
The William P. Elrod Memorial Scholarship is the Technology Student Association's own national scholarship, awarding $2,500 to a TSA student member each year. It honors William P. Elrod of Madison, Kansas, one of TSA's founders, and the fund was dedicated by the TSA Board of Directors after his death in 1990.
Applications are due May 1 each year and are available through the TSA student member site, so members apply with their existing organization login rather than through an outside platform. TSA is the career and technical student organization for students in technology, engineering, and STEM programs, with hundreds of thousands of middle and high school members nationwide.
Because the applicant pool is limited to TSA members — and because many members focus on the organization's competitive events rather than its scholarships — the Elrod is a quietly good bet for active members with strong records in TSA activities.
