Taco Bell Live Más Scholarship Opening Soon
Offered by Taco Bell Foundation
About This Scholarship
The Live Más Scholarship deliberately ignores GPA, test scores, and transcripts. Applicants aged 16 to 26 submit either a 30-second-to-2-minute video or a 250-500 word written response (photo optional) about their passion, the impact they want to make, and how they embody an unconventional path to their goals. The Taco Bell Foundation — the chain's nonprofit arm, founded in 1992 — funds the most compelling stories, and both Taco Bell restaurant employees and non-employees are welcome.
The 2026 cycle was the program's biggest yet: $14.5 million awarded across more than 1,500 scholarships of $5,000, $10,000, or $25,000, drawn from over 41,000 applications — nearly triple the prior year, and roughly a 1-in-27 hit rate. About 60% of awards went to returning scholars, since winners can reapply to renew up to three times (age limits don't apply to renewals). Scholars also join a 3,000-plus community with mentors, career connections, and resources.
Funds cover tuition, required fees, books, and course-specific supplies only. The most recent window ran October 14 to January 6, with winners notified in late April.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to make a video for the Live Más Scholarship?
No. Since recent cycles you can choose between a short video and a written response of 250-500 words — judges weigh the story, not the production values.
Can current scholarship winners get more money?
Yes. Past recipients can apply for renewal awards with no upper age limit, so the scholarship can follow you through college.
