About This Scholarship
The Stamps President's Scholars Program is Georgia Tech's premier, full-ride merit scholarship, awarded to roughly 50 incoming first-years each fall — the fall 2026 cohort numbered exactly 50. Scholars join the national Stamps Scholars network and get comprehensive programming: retreats, funded travel for research and professional development, and a four-year leadership community layered on top of the money.
Consideration is automatic. Every high school senior who applies for admission to Georgia Tech by the Early Action deadline is evaluated — no separate scholarship application, no nomination. For the current cycle that means October 15, 2026 for Georgia residents (Early Action 1) and November 2, 2026 for all other early applicants (Early Action 2).
From there the program takes over: semifinalists are notified in late January 2027 and complete required virtual asynchronous interviews in early February, and around 150 finalists attend the mandatory Stamps Scholars Weekend, held April 9-10, 2027. Finalists who do not receive one of the 50 Stamps President's awards are considered for at least 20 Gold Scholarship awards and other scholarships.

- High school senior applying for first-year admission to Georgia Tech
- Must apply by the Early Action deadline: October 15, 2026 for Georgia residents (EA1) or November 2, 2026 for non-Georgia applicants (EA2)
- Semifinalist interviews and the finalist Stamps Scholars Weekend (April 9-10, 2027) are mandatory to remain in consideration
