Schwarzkopf Professional Shaping Futures Scholarship
Offered by Professional Beauty Association
About This Scholarship
The Professional Beauty Association, the industry's main trade association, administers the Schwarzkopf Professional Shaping Futures Scholarship: five $2,000 awards for students enrolled in accredited cosmetology or hairstyling programs leading to licensure. Schwarzkopf Professional, the Henkel-owned haircare brand, funds the program as part of its global Shaping Futures initiative.
Beauty school is a trade path where even modest scholarships move the needle — cosmetology programs commonly cost $10,000 to $20,000, and far fewer scholarship dollars chase those students than chase four-year degree seekers. Five awards in a single cycle makes this one of the better bets on the PBA's scholarship board.
Eligibility is simple: applicants must be 18 or older, a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident, and enrolled in an accredited cosmetology or hairstyling program leading to licensure. Henkel employees and their children are excluded. Applications go through the form on PBA's scholarships page and close October 31, 2026.
