Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Contest
Offered by Regions Bank
About This Scholarship
The Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Contest is Regions Bank's long-running scholarship competition, awarding $8,000 scholarships to students in the 15 states where the bank operates. The 2026 program runs as four separate quarterly contests, with four $8,000 scholarships awarded in each quarter — two for written essays and two for video essays — for a total of sixteen awards across the year.
Entrants respond to a prompt about an individual they know personally from their own community who has inspired them and helped them move forward. Written essays are capped at 500 words, while video essays can run up to three minutes. Winners are selected through judging of the submissions, and no purchase or banking relationship with Regions is required to enter.
The contest is open to entrants age 16 or older who are legal residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Texas, with at least one year of undergraduate study remaining and a minimum 2.0 GPA.

No. No purchase or banking relationship is required to enter or win the Riding Forward Scholarship Contest.
