The National College Match is less a scholarship than a full-ride admissions pipeline: high-achieving, low-income seniors who match with one of QuestBridge's 55 partner colleges — a list that includes Yale, Penn, and Notre Dame — receive a four-year scholarship covering the full cost of attendance, which QuestBridge values at over $360,000. The application is free.
QuestBridge's target profile is specific: students from households typically earning less than $65,000 a year for a family of four with minimal assets, who earn primarily A's in the most challenging courses their school offers. Applicants rank the partner colleges they'd attend, and students who don't match can still apply to partner schools through QuestBridge's Regular Decision process — so a non-match isn't the end of the road.
The scale is real: 2,550 finalists matched in the 2025 cycle, more than 19,000 students have matched since the program began, and the QuestBridge scholar and alumni community now tops 35,000.
