Quad Cities Community Foundation Scholarships Opening Soon
Offered by Quad Cities Community Foundation
About This Scholarship
The Quad Cities Community Foundation distributes more than $500,000 in scholarships every year to students on both sides of the Mississippi — the Iowa and Illinois communities of Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, Moline, and surrounding areas. For the 2027 cycle, more than 60 scholarship applications are available through the foundation's single online scholarship system.
The foundation has posted its full 2027 calendar: applications become available November 1, 2026, the Quad City Regional Auto Show Scholarship closes January 17, 2027, and all other scholarship applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on February 15, 2027. Recipients then submit a student information sheet by June 15, 2027.
Scholarships are grouped by financial need, student status (first-year, transfer, current college), and skilled trades, so the program reaches well beyond traditional four-year-bound high school seniors. One application routes each student to every award they qualify for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do Illinois students qualify, or only Iowa residents?
Both. The foundation serves the bi-state Quad Cities region and offers scholarships for students in Iowa and Illinois, with individual funds defining their own geographic criteria.
Are there options if I'm heading into the trades instead of college?
Yes. The foundation's scholarship listing specifically includes skilled-trades scholarships alongside need-based and traditional academic awards.
