Point Foundation Flagship Scholarship
Offered by Point Foundation
About This Scholarship
The Flagship Scholarship is Point Foundation's signature award and the most established LGBTQ+ scholarship in the country. It provides up to $15,000 in funding, renewable for up to four years, along with the mentorship, leadership development, and community that Point is known for building among its scholars.
The award is open to LGBTQ+ students and allies who are at least high school seniors and will be enrolled full time in a degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate, or professional program at an accredited, not-for-profit U.S. college or university. Selection weighs academic performance, leadership, financial need, and involvement with the LGBTQ+ community, and the 3.3 minimum GPA keeps the pool competitive.
Because the award can follow a scholar for four years, the total value can reach well into five figures, making this one of the largest identity-based scholarships with a fall deadline. Students enrolled in fully online degree programs are not eligible.
