NAPABA Law Foundation Scholarships
Offered by NAPABA Law Foundation
About This Scholarship
The NAPABA Law Foundation, the charitable affiliate of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, awards a slate of scholarships each fall to law students nationwide who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to serving Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. The fall 2026 slate includes the $5,000 NLF Scholarship, two $7,500 NLF Presidential Scholarships, the $2,500 Low Family Scholarship, and the $2,500 LimNexus Scholarship.
One combined online application covers all of the fall awards, which keeps the workload manageable: applicants submit the form plus two letters of recommendation from people not related to them. Selection weighs academics, leadership experience, volunteerism and public interest service, and knowledge of the social and cultural issues facing AAPI communities.
The foundation also runs separate cycles for its Han C. Choi Scholarship ($5,000) and the two-year SAIL Scholarship ($7,500) for rising 2Ls, so law students should watch the open-scholarships page year-round.
