About This Scholarship
The Fulcrum Foundation is the education foundation of the Archdiocese of Seattle, and its Tuition Assistance Grant Program is the largest single source of Catholic school tuition help in Western Washington. For the 2027-28 school year, grants are set at $1,375 for students in grades K-8 and $1,575 for students in grades 9-12, paid toward tuition at any Catholic school within the archdiocese.
The program is need-based and refreshingly simple: any family enrolled in — or planning to enroll in — a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle may apply, and awards are made based on demonstrated financial need. Fulcrum partners with FACTS Grant and Aid to collect and verify applications, so families complete one online financial profile (a $35 fee per family, not per student) and upload supporting documentation.
Timing matters more than anything else here: the application window runs October 1 through December 31 for the following school year, a full winter ahead of most school-year deadlines, and Fulcrum does not accept late applications. Families must reapply each year to continue receiving support.
