P.J.C. Lindfors Legal Studies Scholarship
Offered by Finlandia Foundation National
About This Scholarship
The P.J.C. Lindfors Legal Studies Fund was created by Pertti Lindfors, a Finnish American attorney in San Francisco, to encourage law students to study across the Atlantic. Finlandia Foundation National administers the fund and awards scholarships of $1,000 to $3,000.
The award runs in both directions. American law students who have finished at least one year at a U.S. law school can use it to study at the law faculty of a Finnish university, and Finnish law students with a year of study in Finland or the EU can use it at an ABA-approved U.S. law school. Applicants may be awaiting acceptance, already admitted or currently enrolled at the host school.
Mr. Lindfors died in 2022, but his gift continues to fund the program. The application deadline for the 2027 cycle is January 17, 2027.
