FFGC College Scholarship
Offered by Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc.
About This Scholarship
The Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, the statewide network of more than 100 local garden clubs, awards $3,000 college scholarships to Florida students studying fields that advance garden club objectives — a list that runs from agriculture, biology, and botany to city planning, conservation, ecology, forestry, horticulture, and landscape architecture and design.
Eligibility covers both high school seniors entering college and students at all college levels, with separate application forms for each group. Applicants must be Florida residents attending (or planning to attend) a Florida college or university, and FFGC expects a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Only one FFGC scholarship may be awarded per student.
Completed applications are due May 1 and are submitted using the forms posted on the FFGC scholarships page, along with the federation's financial aid form. Students who qualify may also want to look at the separate Deep South Garden Clubs and National Garden Clubs scholarships listed on the same page, which have February 1 deadlines and their own applications.
