About This Scholarship
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, based in Nashville, administers more than 160 donor-established scholarship funds — one of the largest scholarship pools in the state. Its general scholarship application is a single online form that matches students to every fund they qualify for, spanning awards for particular schools and counties, specific fields of study, students with significant financial need, and many other criteria.
The annual cycle opens December 1 at 8 a.m. Central and closes February 1 at 11:30 p.m. Central. Committees review applications through the spring, decisions are released April 15, and funds are sent to colleges in mid-July, split between fall and spring semesters.
Award amounts and eligibility vary by fund, and separate applications exist for a handful of special-requirement scholarships and employer-based programs. Applying is free, and one application covers the full slate — a strong first stop for students across Middle Tennessee.

Do I need to apply separately to each CFMT scholarship fund?
