Offered by Collaboratory (formerly Southwest Florida Community Foundation)
About This Scholarship
Collaboratory, the community foundation serving Southwest Florida from Fort Myers, provides more than $1 million in scholarship support each year to students in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee counties. During the 2026 cycle alone, it awarded $1,597,296 across 218 scholarships funded by local donors.
With a single online application on the Kaleidoscope platform, students are considered for multiple scholarship opportunities based on their eligibility, qualifications, and educational goals. Volunteer reviewers from the community evaluate applications each winter, and the foundation warns that late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
For the 2027 scholarship cycle, the application opens November 2, 2026 and closes January 14, 2027. Collaboratory recommends starting early and completing every section before submitting; questions can be sent to [email protected].
