AmericanTrucks Student Scholarships
Offered by AmericanTrucks (Turn5, Inc.)
About This Scholarship
AmericanTrucks, the pickup-truck parts retailer in the Turn5 family, runs a twice-yearly $2,500 scholarship aimed squarely at the skilled trades. Eligible students are pursuing traditional building trades — HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and related fields — including certificate programs and apprenticeships, at accredited technical institutes, vocational schools, and two- or four-year colleges with construction-related programs. High school seniors entering those programs can also apply.
The application is an essay of roughly 750-1,500 words describing who you are and how you plan to use your education to contribute to a thriving community of trade workers. There is no GPA requirement; the essay and proof of enrollment are the whole application, with one entry allowed per student per semester. Awards are sent directly to the winner's school as a tuition payment.
Trade-focused scholarships from consumer brands are rare, and rarer still on a reliable repeating schedule. With deadlines each October 15 and June 15 and the ability to reapply with a fresh essay, this is a practical target for HVAC, electrical, welding-adjacent, and construction-management students who often get overlooked by traditional four-year-college awards.
