About This Scholarship

Alabama AGC, the state chapter of the Associated General Contractors, runs a foundation scholarship aimed squarely at keeping construction talent in-state. The award is $1,000, and it goes to Alabama residents who are enrolled — or enrolling — in a construction-related program at a junior college, technical school, or university inside Alabama.

Unlike scholarships that lean entirely on GPA, Alabama AGC says it is looking for well-rounded students who pair academic performance with extracurricular involvement.
