NSCA Women's Scholarship

About This Scholarship

Strength and conditioning remains a male-dominated profession, and the NSCA Foundation's Women's Scholarship exists to change that math. The award supports applicants who identify as female, ages 17 and older, entering the strength and conditioning field, with $2,000 granted toward tuition at an accredited institution.

Unlike the Foundation's high school award, this scholarship spans the full academic pipeline: applicants may be working toward an undergraduate or a graduate degree, as long as the degree is in a strength and conditioning field and they can show acceptance into an accredited program. Current NSCA or International Affiliate membership is required at the time of application and award, and applicants may not have won the award twice previously.

The application runs on the Foundation's single annual cycle, opening August 1 and closing October 15, and requires transcripts from every school attended plus three completed recommendation rubrics.

Eligibility

• Identifies as female, age 17 or older
• Accepted into an accredited institution, working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in a strength and conditioning field
• Current NSCA or International Affiliate membership at the time of application and award
• Transcripts from each school attended and three completed recommendation rubrics
• Has not won this award twice previously

How To Apply

• Complete the online application between August 1 and October 15 (11:59 a.m. MTN) at nsca.com — one cycle per year, no late materials
• Upload transcripts from every school attended and request three recommendation rubrics
• Maintain NSCA membership through the award date
