About This Scholarship
Let's Invest in American Workers – Together is a Scholarship America-administered program aimed squarely at adult learners — one of the few national scholarships that requires applicants to be 25 or older. It awards $2,500 to students earning a certificate or associate degree in career-focused fields.
Eligible applicants are high school graduates (a GED counts) or current college undergraduates who plan to enroll at least half time — a minimum of six credits — at an accredited postsecondary institution. Study must be in one of three areas: culinary and hospitality, business and technology, or allied health. There are no geographic restrictions, and part-time enrollment is explicitly allowed, which fits the working adults the program is designed for.
Applications run through Scholarship America's online portal and require a current transcript along with a statement of educational and career goals. Awards are one-time, but students who still meet the eligibility rules may reapply in future cycles.
