CareerFitter Scholarship
Offered by CareerFitter
About This Scholarship
CareerFitter, the career-assessment company behind one of the web's most widely used work-personality tests, has run an annual scholarship since 2003 — an unusually long track record for a company award. The current cycle awards $1,000 to a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, with applications due October 31, 2026.
The application is refreshingly short: answer "What is the perfect career for you and why?" in no more than 700 characters — characters, not words, so roughly a paragraph. CareerFitter encourages (but does not require) taking its career assessment first, and a panel of company judges picks the winner, who is notified in November 2026.
Eligibility is broader than most U.S. company awards: the 2.4 minimum GPA is forgiving, any major qualifies, online-university students are welcome, and the program is explicitly open to domestic, international, and undocumented students enrolled full-time at accredited U.S. colleges — a rare combination worth flagging for students who are shut out of citizenship-restricted awards.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the CareerFitter essay really only 700 characters?
Yes — characters, not words. That is roughly 100-120 words, so every sentence has to earn its place. A panel of CareerFitter judges selects the winner.
Can international or undocumented students apply?
Yes. The program is explicitly open to domestic, international, and undocumented students, as long as they are enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university.
When is the winner announced?
The winner is notified by email or phone in November 2026, with a public announcement on CareerFitter's website and social channels.
