Graduate vs. Professional Degree For Student Loans
Changes with student loan borrowing limits for graduate students are sparking a lot of confusion. Here's what you need to know about the difference between graduate school and professional school when it comes to student loan debt

Graduate vs. Professional Student Loans
Why This Matters
Starting in July 2026, graduate students will only be able to borrow up to $20,500 in student loans, while professional students will be able to borrow up to $50,000.
This change will impact how affordable graduate school will be, and could force more private student loan borrowing.
Best High Yield Savings Accounts
Stop leaving your money in a traditional checking or savings account earning nothing or maybe 0.01% APY. Inflation is eroding the value of your money... and you're just hurting yourself financially. Switch to a high-yield savings account today.
@thecollegeinvestor Replying to @moneydork #greenscreen i still chuckle every time i see these rates. Anyone banking with these banks? #moneytok #personalfinance #debtfreejourney #learnontiktok #savemoney #save #millennial #millennials ♬ Aesthetic - Tollan Kim
Higher Savings Rates
Why This Matters
A high-yield savings account (HYSA) can up nearly 10x the national average (which is just 0.38% APY right now).
If you have $5,000 in a regular savings account at a major bank (watch the video), you might earn $0.50 per month. A HYSA pays you nearly $19/mo.
It's literally free money for doing nothing different than switching banks! When we talk about passive income - this is truly passive income.
