I was recently reading this post about Heidemarie Schwermer, who has been living in Germany for the last 16 years without money. In case you hadn't seen the story, you can find it here: Life Without Money.
Basically she lives her life by bartering, and hasn't used money in years. If she needs something, she does a chore in exchange for what she needs, or she swaps for something she has.
What is surprising about the story is that she has done it for so long, in such an industrialized setting like Germany.
So, could you live life without money? Could you really barter for things like healthcare or medicine? Is this only possible because it is in Germany?
