Mint Teams Up with Zillow

October 4, 2010

So I logged into my Mint account the other day, and learned that Mint has partnered with Zillow to provide up-to-date valuations of your home on Mint.

If you don’t know, Mint is a great online personal finance site that is FREE and updates all of your personal finance information automatically by connecting to your banks. You may be a little leery providing this information online, but they are perfectly legit and safe. Mint makes their money through advertising – they look at the finance products you have and offer you better ones that can make you more money or save you money. Check it out here: Mint.com- online money management.

Zillow is a real estate website that tracks the value of your home based on local area information. While it is not perfect, it can provide you with an estimate of your home’s value based on comparable homes nearby.

By combining forces, Mint has increased their ability to provide relevant finance data to their users.

Today: If you haven’t input your home value into Mint and Zillow yet, do it today!
