I can’t believe that we are already at the end of August! This year has been flying by. I’ve been meaning to give some recognition to some great Yakezie members and challengers, so here we go:
Nickel by Nickel: Why You Shouldn’t Cosign Anything For A Friend or Relative – A great lesson to learn early in life!
My Personal Finance Journey: The Account Hierarchy Paradox – This has an even longer title, but it is a great article about the order of planning financial stuff out.
My Multiple Incomes: The Internet is Like High School – A fun an entertaining post highlighting the nuances of the internet.
So Over Debt: Confession: I Hate Cleaning – Me too! I need to afford a cleaning lady to make my life easier!
Fat Guy, Skinny Wallet: 6 Ways To Save Money on Car Insurance – These are some great tips to save money on something that everyone must spend on.
The Penny Hoarder: Make Money With These Mobile Apps – I love fun and easy ways to make money, and this falls into that category.
The Debt Myth: Why Get Out Of Debt? – I’m not going to give away the answer, but I totally agree!
Cash Flow Mantra: Investing For All Seasons – This is a great look at some historical seasonal trends that seem to happen every year.
Investorz Blog: Advantages of the Small Investor – Warren Buffett has said this before, but being a small investor really does have its perks sometimes.
The Saved Quarter: 5 Tips To Air Travel With Toddlers – This is something I know nothing about, but appreciate people who take time to think about it to keep the flight sane!
The $60k Project: Why You Should Avoid Country Funds - An important lesson to consider when investing abroad.
Prairie Eco-Thrifter: Growth of Sustainable Finance to Support the Environment – Something really important to consider as we as a world have to deal with the changing environment.
Money Talks Coaching: Are You Ready To Die? – A sad topic, but one that is very important to consider at any age.
Remember, Labor Day is a week away, marking the unofficial end of summer! Boo!

Thanks for the mention. I would point out that the “seasons” are actually about 10-15 years in length. Labeling them seasons is simply a convenient method of thinking about them.
Thanks for doing the round up and including my post. Much appreciated. I know- end of August already!! It’s crazy. I don’t know where 2011 is going. At least it has been great summer weather though.
Thanks so much for the mention.
