Free Turbo Tax Premier 2014 Giveaway

Free TurboTax 2014 GiveawayBy now you should know that I’m a huge fan of TurboTax.  I’ve used it myself for over 10 years, and even after trying out some of the competitors, I’ve decided that TurboTax is the best choice for individuals looking to do their own taxes.

Since it’s almost tax time, I wanted to give away 5 free copies of TurboTax Premier – that’s $250 in free products!  Plus, it’s something that you just need to do!

Earlier, we talked about When Can I File My 2013 Taxes, and the time is now!  Even though the IRS isn’t processing returns until January 31, there is no reason that you can’t start doing your returns in TurboTax.

Why TurboTax Premier?

TurboTax 2013Why am I giving away TurboTax Premier?  Because this is the level of TurboTax you want to use if you’re going to be dealing with investment income.

TurboTax Premier is the level that you need if you own stocks and bonds, hold mutual funds, or have rental properties.  This will handle everything you need for investment income – which we’re all about.  As I compared in my review of the best online tax software, I think that TurboTax is the easier system to use, even though the price is a little more than H&R Block for the same level of income tax return.

TurboTax Premier is a $49.99 value, and I’m going to be giving away five (5) copies of it this month!

How Else Can I File My Taxes For Free With TurboTax?

Many people want to know if there is a free version of TurboTax this year…and the answer is YES!

  • You were under 65 years of age during 2012
  • Your taxable income was less than $100,000
  • You only had wages, salaries, tips, scholarships or fellowships, unemployment compensation, or the Alaska Permanent Fund, and your taxable interest was less than $1,500
  • Your tips are included on your W-2
  • You are not in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
