The other day I was looking to upgrade my old QuickBooks Pro 2007 to QuickBooks Pro 2011. For those of you who use QuickBooks, you will understand why. If you don’t use it, you should really consider using it for your small business accounting needs. It puts everything together in one simple, easy to use place.
Shopping For The Best Price
However, if you own it or have shopped for it, you know it is not cheap. Since I knew this going in, I was looking to find the best deal possible on the internet by looking for sales or discounts. One area I have found success with in the past with getting a discount is finding a promotion code. You may notice at most store’s online checkouts you will see a spot for “Promotion Code” or “Discount Code”. Well, there is Promotioncode.org, which is a great resource to find a lot of different promotion or discount codes for the store that you are looking for.
When I was looking for Quickbooks last week, I went to their main page and searched for “QuickBooks”. When the search result came up, there were about 6 different QuickBooks Promotion Codes. They were all for 20% off Quickbooks 2011, which saved me over $25!
Do Deal Sites Really Work?
Another cool feature of PromtionCode.org is that users can rate codes as “This code worked” or “This code failed”. That way, you as the user can know which codes are most likely to work. This is especially helpful since some sites won’t let you try more than one code at a time. You can even leave a comment for the code – useful if you need to do something special in the checkout to get the code to work (i.e. enter it on the item page).
Finally, there is a Staff Pick, which the staff verifies the code works. They even show the date that the code was last tested.

Robert-I love promotion codes. I always use them for snapfish before I make a photo book. This site sounds great!
